THE PURSUIT OF PECULIAR PERFECTION
Client: Hendricks Gin
Challenge: With the growth of craft gin, consumers are enjoying it in both exclusive and, increasingly, mainstream bars. Hendricks wanted to ensure the enjoyment of their gin is perfect no matter where they drink it.
Solution: Purple built a highly interactive, video-powered training microsite featuring Hendricks global ambassador David Piper. It teaches bartenders the vital components of a perfect Hendricks and Tonic, from glassware to garnish. Sections end with gamified questions to test knowledge, allowing bars and Hendricks to track understanding from national to local levels.
Additional Easter eggs of hidden facts, videos and games can be found by the more curious bartenders. The unusual imagery, some cut from original 1850s artwork, was brought to life using cutting-edge web animation techniques to maximise interaction and engagement.
