Launching an exotic new Hendrick’s brand world
The team at Hendrick’s came to us to promote their new exclusive Amazonia Gin, a bright, tropical twist on the classic cucumber and rose libation, targeting all manner of curious people in Global Travel Retail and across social media.
Our approach was to honour the brand’s unusual brand world, with its distinctive styling and curious tone of voice, but to also let our imaginations soar (building on all the carefully crafted equities, of course) through live action and animation.
Our marvellous moving picture showcases the story of the gin’s inception. Starring Ms Lesley Gracie – the fantastic and fearless Master Distiller. Set in the most hospitable corner of Scotland and the most inhospitable parts of the Venezuelan jungle.
It is an odyssey of oddities. A pilgrimage of the peculiar. We created a film full of the extraordinary and the exotic, encouraging travellers to sally forth and procure a bottle, which appeared everywhere from airports to online.
When you explore our fantastical forest-scape – keep an eye open for the elusive ‘Double-breasted Bubble Catcher”, the ‘Cockahoop Bandersnatch’ and the ‘Ethereal Amazonian Dangler’!
This limited edition launch went so well, Amazonia became a permanent fixture in Hendrick's Gin's portfolio.
