Three Barrels French Brandy
Rolling out a new brand world for the UK’s favourite brandy
Despite being a household name, Three Barrels French Brandy were facing a challenge: they needed to modernise and premiumise their brand and bottles to appeal to a new generation of drinker.
The solution was a design evolution and new identity system to create strong on and off-pack distinctive brand assets, with our redrawn Three Barrels logo and wordmark central to the new iconic brand world.
We then evolved the packaging, the new DBA hierarchy giving the bottles a cleaner, more modern feel that increased on-shelf visibility and elevated brand recognition.
We later launched Three Barrels XO, a more premium expression with secondary carton and gift packaging. Following the same identity systems, we allowed it to express its personality with extra crafted design elements and by inverting the shield to deliver a unique and premium aesthetic.
