Client: Plant for Peace

Founded by James Brett, Plant for Peace aims to encourage farmers in war-torn countries to stop growing drug crops and instead grow ethical, lucrative fruit crops like mulberries and pomegranates.

Challenge: Purple were hired to develop and implement a new brand identity. The brand had to work on different levels: to sell the natural fruit product (whether a fruit bar, drink, etc.), capture the charitable and world-changing essence of the charity as well as work as a endorsment logo for other brands in the future.

Solution: The logo idea is based around both the tree of life and the universal symbol for peace. The abstract tree represents the life-changing effect of the charity on local communities, as well as being a physical depiction of the pomegranate tree (and other fruits, like mulberry).
