CMC Markets is a global provider of online trading and investment services, listed on the FTSE 250 index.
Back in 2011, CMC was changing. New technology, new ideas and new global offices meant the old identity wasn't reflective of the current business and its ambitions.
CMC’s founder Lord Cruddas and the CMC global marketing team challenged Purple to help create a new brand identity that better reflected the brand they were – and wanted to be. Ambitious, daring and disruptive.
Inspired by a simple market chart symbol, Purple created a new dynamic, technology-inspired identity. The distinctive logo and design systems were created to cover all brand world touch points, from stationery to sponsorship, website to workspaces, app to ads.
We also helped define the brand purpose with a powerful call to arms, ‘Dream, Dare, Deliver’, that was used to relaunch the new look and message.
The result is brand world that has helped CMC stand out and accelerate growth in the financial marketplace for over 15 years. A brand that has endured.
