Castrol GTX - South Africa rangers campaign
Millions of people rely on Castrol GTX to help extend engine life and get more miles from their vehicles. One of those customers is the Black Mambas in South Africa. They are an all-female team of game rangers who have been using Castrol products for over 12 years to help maintain their fleet of SUVs.
Working with Castrol, the BRAVE Group, South Africa and Cake Director, ‘Vossie’ Vorster, we helped plan, write and create this inspiring documentary video series, supported by ‘snackable’ social content and integrated print, PR, digital and activation toolkit.
The campaign will be shown on TV and digital channels in South Africa, with trade advocacy support, including supporting content from the Castrol South African brand Ambassador Thabiso Mkhize.
Created with our friends at Brave Group. Directed by Johann Vorster, CAKE

“Here at Castrol,we are so proud to share this inspirational story with South African mechanics and drivers. Some of the SUVs in the Black Mambas’ fleet have done over 400,000km and our new campaign shows how their mechanics use Castrol GTX to help extend engine life. This vehicle reliability is vital, so they can get more miles out of every engine as the rangers do their vital work in the Greater Kruger.”
